Conceived to work with wide autonomy, HEXAGON manages an integrated pallet warehouse that makes it autonomous for many working hours. The number of trays (pallets) in the warehouse ranges from 15 in the standard version to 30 in the MAXI. The artificial vision system manages the marking of the pieces on trays, identifying, centering and rotating it on the pieces, thus avoiding troublesome production waste.

Furthermore, the possibility of integrating HEXAGON with an anthropomorphic robot allows the marking of complex parts on several sides without any re-machining.

All customer materials can be processed with HEXAGON thanks to the integration of various LASER sources.

The system is equipped with the characteristics necessary to fall into the category of goods functional to the technological and digital transformation of enterprises according to the industry 4.0 model.

The ability to work autonomously without operator intervention is the peculiarity of this system, which can also process different batches independently for several hours of processing. The possibility to choose between the version with 15 and 30 load trays (pallets) allows you to adapt the machine to the needs of the individual customer.
The system provides for the use of a maximum of 3 XYZ axes for the processing phase and an axis for picking up and depositing the pallets from the automatic warehouse. An anthropomorphic robot can be integrated as an option for multi-sided or particularly complex machining.
The system provides the possibility to house all the sources described in the LUX family inside, capable of processing any material with optimal results.

Matrix – Software Suite

Matrix is an advanced Software Suite developed thanks to thirty years of experience in LASER Marking, Welding and Cutting systems and ready for the challenges of Industry 4.0. It represents the state of the art of work functionality and has the best human-machine interface on the market. This makes the operator training times practically null and makes even the most intense use pleasant. The practical EASYPAD touch on the front of the machine allows the operator to control the primary functions of MATRIX even without accessing the PC, allowing a reduction in working times and making it comfortable to use.

Unique feature on the market that allows to visually center the position of the piece thanks to the "live overlay" display and to be able to carry out the processing as displayed on the screen. 
Integrated management of traceability thanks to the interface with management, ERP, MES or database and reading functions and verification of 1D / 2D texts or codes through the integrated vision system.

Modularity oriented development allows the customer to configure MATRIX based to your needs. New needs thanks will be easily addressed the packages and features available for after market installation also thanks to the convenient connection tool remote "LIVESERVICE".
4. Smart Factory Ready
The Smart Factory package allows you to have remote control and monitoring of the system, with Reporting and Analytics on the productivity of the machining center and with the management of all the connections necessary for the factory interconnection (IOT, WI-FI. LAN, Profi -NetTM). 

Vision Systems

Advanced Vision Devices (AVD) are a fundamental part of our offer, as they integrate into complex systems designed for the various sectors of application. The use of recognition algorithms, neural networks and artificial intelligence makes the field of use and potential extremely extensive. The native integration of vision functions with MATRIX software programming allows unparalleled flexibility in the management of production processes.
1. Pattern Matching
"PATTERN MATCHING" function for automatic recognition of the position of the piece and consequent automatic alignment of the machining. 
2. Quality Inspection
"QUALITY INSPECTION" function for the recognition of attributes on the piece (color, shape, size, presence or absence of artefacts, surface finish, etc.), with the assignment of a Pass / Fail or a Class of Membership.
3. OCR – Barcode 1D/2D
Reading and verification of texts (OCR) or 1D / 2D codes integrated with the software to fulfill the process traceability needs or to guarantee the quality and the result in case of a marking.
4. Autofocus
The Autofocus function allows the adjustment of the work quota without the need for operator intervention.
